2.5 Build Notes (will post them here when I get the all clear)
Testing Tips
Balance Checking the T22 (TIER 1's ONLY)
For the sake of getting as many people in a battle as possible - let's focus our testing efforts solely in Team Training.
If you're the TT room host, make the tier range reasonable for what these premiums would see (it plays up to tier 8).
Wait a bit to launch TT rooms so folks get a chance to see it and join in.
Any map is fine. Obviously, tier 1's wouldn't see a map like Pearl River but I won't get salty if you guys hop on there for fun.
If you're available in the later hours of the session, please hop on and play a few battles with our Pacific time zone pals.
When balance-testing the new tank, please be open to playing other tier 1's. We want to see how the T22 performs against other tanks and not just against itself. Try different packages for the T22 as well. If you're in a different tier 1 though, be on your highest package.
Proving Grounds can be a last resort if no one else is on the server when you hop on.
Functional Testing (the British TD line)
This is best done in Proving Grounds where you can just run from the bots and examine your tank.
How do the tank models look? Is the audio okay (engine, firing, etc)? Please specify what platform you're on when checking.
How's the UI of these tanks in the Garage? Can you get ammo, supplies, and equipment? Everything look good in their Packages menu?
Everything okay when applying camo, emblems, and inscriptions?
When one of these tanks is destroyed, do the textures still look okay?
Rules of Engagement
As usual, we’ll be testing starting at 12 pm CDT. Please prioritize Team Training over testing in Proving Grounds or Battle Queue. Proving Grounds can be a last resort if nobody is on or if you just want to be left alone while you check the functionality of the British TD's,
When you're in Team Training, feel free to conduct yourself under Playtest rules. Shoot, shoot, shoot! Please remember though that a playtest is meant to replicate the Live environment as much as possible. Use premium rounds as sparingly as you would in a Live battle.
Forget Battle Queue for this session. No real reason to use it and our primary focus doesn't require it.
